Seeds of Insight 039 - Life Force
The first signs of Spring are here. Seeds are sprouting, early flowers are blooming, rivers are full and the Earth is awakening from the sweet rest. I feel the urge to follow her.
In my homeland, Bulgaria, this is the day of Baba Marta (literally “Grandma March”) - a very old pagan tradition celebrating health and life. How appropriate! On this day, we tie a red-and-white ribbon around our wrists.
The white is a symbol of the divine masculine, purity and good health. In the old days, this simply meant that people had survived another winter, in which they could have died of cold and disease. So very naturally, they celebrated the gift of good health.
In our modern lives, we have become accustomed with much greater comfort and lower risk and yet, this year has reminded us of what we often take for granted. We owe ourselves a celebration of health more than ever. If you are reading these words, then your body weathered a pandemic, multiple lockdowns and associated mental and emotional struggles. But here you are, still moving, still breathing. So celebrate, dear One.
The red is a symbol of life and passion, creation and the divine feminine principle. It is also related to blood and death - a reminder that, rather than the end of life, death can also be seen as the very centre of it. “In order to be born as a tree, you have to be willing to die as a seed” as Mooji says. Indeed, as Mother Nature is rebirthing and awakening - seeds are dying and trees are born - it is inviting us to do the same.
This new month of MindRest is about dying to some of our old fears and beliefs and stepping into new unknown growth through skilful action with integrity. For me, this doesn’t mean action towards fulfilment sometime in the future, but rather and expression of the fulfilment that is already here. We are acting from fulfilment, rather than towards it.
I look forward to seeing you on the mat.
Love,
Iri

True Friend Sessions
True Friend Therapy is a form of non-directive advanced hypnotherapy, combined with the wisdom of the Enneagram of Egoic Fixation, NLP & and the gift of Silence passed to my Teachers from their Teachers Sri Papaji & Sri Ramana Maharsi.
Being a True Friend to you simply (but powerfully) means meeting you with a quiet mind and an open heart - being a humble mirror without agenda, without opinion, without judgement. I have found time and time again that this simple open meeting has a deeply healing effect and leaves space for you to see your own beautiful reflection.
It is the greatest gift I ever received and I am so honoured to extend the invitation to you
