Big thanks to our generous host at Studio Soma, dear Rachel, who is donating the space for this event. We love you!

What to expect?

TUNE IN: The evening will start with gut health and liver wisdom from the knowledgeable Nurse Fiona. Our gut health is poorly understood but essential for our immunity, energy levels AND mental health! After some some herbal tea and simple but powerful gut and liver tips, you will be invited to ask questions and tune in to listen to the signs of your own body.

MOVE: We will follow with a detoxing and accessible yoga flow with Nadia. The sequence is designed to light up your digestive fire (agni in sanskrit) and support physical, but also mental and emotional elimination. In the ayurvedic tradition, this energy of elimination is called apana vayu and its activation is essential in order to create space for new beginnings to blossom.

BE STILL: We’ll then transition into a long and soothing yoga nidra - a form of rejuvenating yogic sleep where the conscious mind can let go and true insights can emerge from within. The nidra will be infused with musical instruments and natural sounds to take you even deeper into surrender and stillness.

INQUIRE: From this stillness, we’ll reflect on the lessons to integrate from the past year, we’ll send it with gratitude and we’ll plant the seeds for the new solar return.

With Love,

Nadia, Fiona and Iri

What is MindRest?

MindRest is a series of sound-infused evenings of yoga, mindfulness and deep relaxation, born out of my heart’s desire to collaborate with others and celebrate their wisdom in service of inner peace. Together, we weave different talents, ours and yours, to create an oasis of stillness, nourishment and deep rest from our busy lives and minds.

Each workshop will explore a different inquiry into our nature, following a familiar structure: MOVE your body through soulful and accessible yoga, STILL your mind through sound bath, mindfulness and guided relaxation, INQUIRE deeply through free-flow journalling and let true insight arise from this stillness.

MindRest is not about teaching you anything. In fact, we have nothing to teach you and all knowledge can be forgotten here. We create a soothing cocoon of deep and healing relaxation so that you can uncover your own inner wisdom - a 'MindRest' where the body can open, the conscious mind can let go and insights can arise from within. You are your own compassionate teacher.

Love,

The Seed & some very talented flowers
