Meaning:full is several hours of pure bliss. Very rarely do we stop and enquire so deeply within, which leads to (old) new insights and so much peace. I’ve taken the exploration and learnings from meaning:full and incorporated them in my life - including a regular meditation practice.
— Milena

HOW DO YOU REALLY FEEL?

Our social media profiles portray a beautiful life. In private however, many of us admit that “things are not quite right”. Does that resonate?  A job that ticks all the boxes but doesn’t bring deeper meaning; a relationship that leaves us feeling unseen and empty, physical exhaustion, confusion and lack of direction...And on and on, the list is long and familiar, particularly past the age of 30.

YOU WONDER WHY?

Perhaps our soul is rebelling against a life that feels wrong.

Rod Stryker, author of the book “The Four Desires”, says that our individual souls have a unique purpose, a reason to be. True meaning comes when we uncover it and align our lives to it.  Under ordinary circumstances however, our mind is less than ideally suited to “hear” our inner wisdom. Yoga and meditation can help us quieten our thoughts, so that we can discover what excites us and brings us meaning.

SO WHAT TO DO?

Join us! Uncover your inner purpose and build a life in service of it through 2 Sunday afternoon workshops in the end of February in the beautiful Hackney yoga studio The Well Garden .  Nadia and Iri will weave yoga asana, meditation, guided relaxation based in hypnotherapy and self-reflection to help you still your mind and get into your heart centre. Through a well-designed process, they’ll support you in finding greater alignment and taking concrete actions for change.

The course was wonderful - nurturing and thoutful teaching and classmates. The yoga sequences were great and it provided the space to reflect and make meaningful life decisions.

Our deep expedition to our innermost desire will follow 4 steps:

Step 1:  Where are you? Deciding where you want to go starts by understanding where you are right now on each of the four key desires of the soul: purpose (dharma), prosperity, (artha),  pleasure (kama) and freedom (moksha). A moment to have a look at what your life is all about!

Step 2: Which way is North? Uncover, formulate and intensify your root intention (sankalpa) for the medium term.  Set a direction of travel to guide you even when the road is bumpy.

Step 3: Travel light. Meet and embrace your shadow (vikalpa). Shine light on resistance and self-sabotage, heal and transform negative beliefs that might be stopping you from realising your full potential.

Step 4: Take the leap. Time to get real - jump head first with some concrete action to manifest your root intention. Take some useful design thinking tools with you for the rest of the ride. Enjoy!

Meaning:full came at the perfect time helping take a step back, reset and reflect on where my life is going right here and now.

Meaning:full made me look forward to Mondays like I never did before! It was truly a retreat within this smokey city and fostered a deep sense of community within a cozy safe space with like minded people and souls. Irena and Nadia were wonderful teachers and guides throughout this experience and it was just the right mix of yoga movement, breathwork, meditation, and reflection through journaling. This course is really not to be missed!

BEFORE YOU ASK, IT’S NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT IS

This is not a series of lectures. We don’t claim to have knowledge that you don’t have. Quite the opposite - we claim that you have all the knowledge you need within you. In fact, you are the only one who knows. We simply assist you through a process to tap into your inner wisdom and uncover the answers that you’ve had all along. As a bonus, you are supported by a family of like-minded people. It feels good, we promise.

OTHER STUFF THAT YOU MIGHT WANT TO KNOW

Can you miss a workshop and still be fulfilled?

Committing to the full course is what makes a difference as this is a process. However, we know that this may not be realistic for everyone. It is essential that you attend both workshops but if you have to leave early or arrive late, we will help you catch up.

Do you need to be an experienced yogi to participate?

No. Yoga is a tool in this course, not the end goal of it. You need to have some experience of physical yoga practice and a sense of curiosity and willingness to meditate. Regular mediation and yoga practices are not a prerequisite, but will certainly enhance the benefits of the course - they will allow the focus to shift to self-inquiry and self-reflection.

Who are we?

Iri trained in Rasa yoga in 2018/2019 with Tanja Mickwitz in London. A few years earlier, she had left a successful career in finance unfulfilled, to be polite, and broken down, to be more accurate. Her search for a deeper meaning started with yoga, vipasana meditation and plant medicine. All of these experiences eventually led to her beloved teacher Gangaji and the path of Self-Inquiry as taught by Sri Ramana Maharshi. Iri is a founder at The Seed. and MindRest, a certified mindfulness and yoga teacher, a trained ayahuasca guide and sound healer, currently studying self-inquiry and hypnotherapy with the Leela School of Awakening. It is her heartfelt desire to be in service of Truth, generosity and inner peace. @theseed.yoga

Nadia trained in vinyasa yoga in Panama in 2016 and since then has played happily (for the most part) in the intersection of the corporate world and the world of spirituality and wellness. A relatively new import to London, she’s caught up in a constant desire to find stillness and space in a city that rarely offers glimpses of either. Her style of yoga also invites this duality - regenerative yin complemented by dynamic vinyasa. Nadia is founder of the London Women Circle and a classical tantra student at Tara. She is most at home expressing herself through dance, food, or through holding space for others. @_corazoncontento.

Iri and Nadia are wonderful gentle teachers

How did we come up with this?

The program has been inspired by our study with multiple teachers and our reading of different texts. We have humbly collected the wisdom that was already out there:

  • Rod Stryker’s Yoga of Fulfillment and the “Four Desires”

  • Abraham Hicks and the Law of Attraction practices

  • The teachings of the Enneagram of egoic fixation (Eli Jaxon-Bear)

  • Papaji’s invitation to stillness and Gangaji’s particular way of teaching self-inquiry

  • Tanja Mickwitz’s mythical flow and yoga teacher training

  • Mindfulness-based techniques studied with Mindfulness Now and the London Buddhist Centre

  • The teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda

  • The principles of nonviolent communication developed by Marshall Rosenberg

  • Sianna Sherman’s Flame of Love Sadhana

  • Bill Burnett and Dave Evans’ application of design principals to finding fulfillment in our professional lives

  • Robert Fritz’ ‘The Path of Least Resistance’

  • Sound medicine, voice work and gong bath training with Aidan Mcintyre and Tim Byford
