Yoga, Self-discovery and Yoga Nidra
MindRest on Zoom is a soulful immersion of yoga, introspection and sweet rest at the end of our weekends, accompanied by a beautiful playlist.
MindRest in February: Immaculate Conception
February in nature is about the first signs of freshly conceived life: the first snowdrops showing their heads in the snow, the first buds appearing on the early trees, the first impression of this invisible life potential growing in the womb of nature. Out of the empty silence of winter, a new life is conceived immaculately, meaning without reason.
If we are quiet enough, we will notice same potential quietly awakening inside us. Our energy levels are slowly lifting up as the days are getting longer. Our minds are more alive with new possibilities, our bellies beginning to feel an unnamable sense of anticipation.
What would this year bring?
I invite you for a month of holding this question, without reaching out for any answer, inviting your sense. of child-like curiosity and slowly inviting new life in your body through more energising sequencing.

Join me (almost) every Sunday at 5pm London from the comfort of your home for a sound-infused journey of yoga, meditative self-inquiry and deeply restful yoga nidra.

What to expect?
MOVE: We will start with a well-rounded yoga practice to get into our bodies and shift from doing to being mode. The aim of this practice is to help us embody the different parts of the inquiry.
INQUIRE: Every week, there will be a different suggestion for a meditative self-inquiry. It helps us investigate different parts of ourselves. Sometimes, this process is pleasant and others - not so pleasant, but invariably rewarding.
REST: In a longer than usual guided relaxation called yoga nidra, we will let our conscious minds rest and open to experience all that is.
What do you need for this online practice?
A yoga mat (if you have one but not essential), a pen and paper, a blanket and anything else that might support your seat and make you feel extra comfortable.
What is MindRest? (in normal times)
MindRest is a series of sound-infused evenings of yoga, mindfulness and deep relaxation. Together, we create an oasis of stillness, nourishment and deep rest from our busy lives and minds.
Each workshop will explore a different inquiry into our nature, following a familiar structure: MOVE your body through soulful and accessible yoga, STILL your mind through sound bath, mindfulness and guided relaxation, INQUIRE deeply through free-flow journalling and let true insight arise from this stillness.
MindRest is not about teaching you anything. In fact, I have nothing to teach you and all knowledge can be forgotten here. Together we create a soothing cocoon of deep and healing relaxation so that you can uncover your own inner wisdom - a 'MindRest' where the body can open, the conscious mind can let go and insights can arise from within. You are your own compassionate teacher.
Love.
