Let yourself be held and supported.
We’ll begin the evening with a heart-opening ceremonial cacao to set an intention, reconnect with our hearts and invite the energy of healing and transformation.
We’ll continue with a supportive and nourishing grief circle - a space to learn about grief tending, connect with your grief, share your story and experience grief in community. The group sharing offers the opportunity for your grief to be witnessed and for you to feel connected to the shared humanity of loss. You are always invited to speak as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
We’ll finish with a deep sound-infused yoga nidra - a form of conscious yogic sleep, supporting healing, compassion and integration. It’s an invitation to tend to your wounds, allow your emotions to flow and discover the lightness and ease underneath.
Who is this for?
This circle is open for all - whether you’ve lost someone dear to you or not. Grief has many faces - a relationship that ended, miscarriage, regrets we hold, unmet hopes and expectations, ecological grief or the longing for deeper meaning and connection in our lives. All are welcome.
About Us
We are Nici and Iri - neighbours and friends. We met only recently, but found such support, solace and quiet understanding in each other’s presence. We are sisters in grief, having lost a parent at a tender age, but we are also and most importantly sisters in the joy of not fixing ourselves, not fixing our grief, not fixing another. We welcome each other as we are and we extend this healing simple gift to you.
